CBV Fall Order

    I got my order of Fall/Christmas scents yesterday :).  Since I waited for Hurricane Irene to hit the Jersey Shore & I have Pneumonia...I figured I'd do my blog review...since I can't do a video review yet.

Bath Time with Pooh- I love the gold and silver glitter combo!!  It's so beautiful and glamorous looking.  And what can I say about Bath Time with Pooh??  AMAZING!! As usual :)  I love it and I'm excited I got it in this much wax :)  I love the honey, toffee, creamy smell <3  It was love at first smell when I first got it last year <3

Snowflake Candle:

 

Sugared Spruce- Oh My God!!  I ordered this without ever having it in a scent shot knowing I was going to love it because I love anything that smells like a Christmas Tree...and...

I was right!  It is so good.  It smells like the pine of a Christmas Tree sprinkled in sugary goodness.  I definitely recommend this scent for a holiday smell.

Scent Shots:
Holiday Wassail- This smells like a festive drink.  Right now I can smell Apple Cider, Pineapple, Orange with a kick of Brandy!  It is a nice light smell, not too overpowering.

Pumpkin Pickin- This is a nice, creamy Pumpkin smell.  It's not a spicy pumpkin.  To me...it smells like Pumpkin and Vanilla.

Sleigh Bells- Right now all I smell is the Cherry and Almond.  It really stands out....I can only smell a hint of mint.

Tonka Truck- OMG...there is no other words to describe this smell other than: SEXY MAN!!

Warm Christmas Splendor- This scent is very strong on Peppermint and Cinnamon.  May be a little too strong for me.

Pumpkin Cheesecake- smells just like the name.  I like it a lot.  I would get it in a bigger candle.

Christmas Lane- I really like this scent.  I pick up Apple with some Pine mixed in.  I also pick up a hint of clove.

Ginger Peach- It smells half Ginger, half Peach.  Nothing more....nothing less.  It's simple and I love it!

Mango Sorbett- I can smell the Mango, but it also has a strong perfume smell...it's not one of my faves.

Endless Love- Smells just like the VS spray.  MMMM....soo good <3

Log Cabin- I got this because my friend Aerika reviewed it and liked it.  I like it as well!  It smells just like pancakes and syrup.  I like this a lot as it does not have a overpowering, sickening sweet syrup smell.

Christmas Memories- This is another good holiday scent.  I can smell the Cranberry and Orange in it.  Reminds me of a drink you could have at an Ugly Sweater party ;)

Banana Brown Sugar Drizzle- Oh My Lanta!!  I love all of Victoria's Banana scents.  This smells like Banana Sugared goodness.

Chantilly Lace- this is a very light and delicate smell.  It reminds me of a perfume my mom wore when I was little, but I don't know what it is.

Apple Pie Ala Mode- MMMMM....it smells like those sizzling apple deserts you get at restaurants with ice cream on top....I am definitely ordering this in a 16 oz.

Raspberry Guava- I got this because a lot of people have raved about this, but I don't see why.  All I can smell right now is Raspberry.  This has to cure more.

Holiday Homebrew- WOW!  This one is  STRONG.  I can smell the Cinnamon, Clove and Nutmeg.

Peppermint Bark- smells just like it and I love it...White Chocolate and Peppermint.

Nutty Candied Apple- I can smell the nuttiness and candied apple part...I love it...will be getting bigger candle for Halloween :)

Favorite CBV Scents

    So today I thought i would share my favorite scents from CBV.  I've seen a lot of people do Top 10 Lists, well....I don't have one.  With over 640 scents to choose from I clearly have more than 10.  I am going to discuss some of my top favorite, then just name others I love.  Enjoy!

#1. (TIE) Bath Time With Pooh- It is full of honey and toffee goodness.  It is such a comforting scent to me.  The smell is creamy and relaxing.  I can never have enough of this scent!
#1. (TIE) Chocolate Sandalwood Spice- I recently ordered this on a whim as the lovely girls on the message board raved about it.  It has quickly moved up to tie with my number 1 scent.  it is the perfect combo of chocolate and spicy sandalwood.  It is an authentic chocolate smell too, not fake.  Each scent compliments the other perfectly.
#2. Apple Cinnamon Butter- OMG!!!!  This is so good :)  I can definitely smell the butter note, which I love...mixed with cinnamon.  I'm not a big fan of strong cinnamon scents, but this is just amazing.
#3. Shamrock Kiss- smells just like Herbal Essence shampoo to me...love it.
#4. Fizzy Pop- smells like straight up ginger-ale, which is actually the only type of "soda" I drink.  I also love how when you sniff it, you can actually feel the carbonation in it.
#5. Pink Bubblegum Crush- I have this bad boy in a Love Victoria Candle.  it is sooooo good!  I love the sweetness and sugary-ness of it.  It is not overly sweet either, which is good because overly sweet smells make me sick ater a while.
#6- Catchin Fireflies- it is just a creamy and musky smell, but also lightly scented.  The musk is not overpowering.  It smells like something familiar, but I can't put my finger on it.......yet.
#7. Caramelized Pralines-  I got this in a scent shot ater watching many of sayanythingbr00ke's videos.  And I agree with her...it is really good.  I can smell the caramel in a perfect balance of nuttiness of the praline.  It's a nice strong smell as well.  I cannot wait til the Fall to burn this.
#8- CocoBeach Baby Peach- Holy Peach!!  This is one amazing smell!  I can smell the Peach and Coconut Milk.  It is a very strong smell, but I love Peach.  I got my mom hooked on this smell as well.  We have been burning it allllll summer long.

Fall Order- Candles by Victoria

     So I caved.  I placed my fall order from Candles By Victoria.  These candles are amazing.  First let me tell you about CBV.  It is a small family owned company.  Victoria and Matt (the candleman), their 2 daughters and a few workers.  Each candle is hand poured at the time of your order, making it so fresh. Unlike other candle companies who use machines and have their candles sitting on shelves for years before you buy it. (WHOMP WHOMP WHOMP). They are also triple scented, which means these bad boys are packed with scent...unlike Yankme Candles.

On another note, you get a free scent shot with every order.  A scent shot is a tart that you melt in a tart warmer.  Did I mention CBV has over 640 scents to choose from?

     I wasn't planning on ordering my fall order until Sept. as CBV is coming out with a new candle line called Black Label Candles.  I was sitting at home the other day and my mom told me my beloved 13 yr old Dalmatian, Bacchus is being put to sleep on Monday 8/22/11.  This can't be, he's my polka dots :(.  Anyone who knows me, knows that when I am very upset I shop.  And anyone who knows Bacchus...knows he loves Lush and getting his nails painted blue....and candles.  So in honor of my polka dots...I ordered fall smells I knew hed like...anddddd his favorite smell.  I would let him smell the candles and if he liked the scent he would roll over on his back and rub his face on the carpet.
